This IDC study presents the worldwide and U.S. IT education services delivery forecast for 2022 through 2026. The forecast includes an analysis of the impact of the pandemic on delivery modalities and illustrates several technology areas that will influence training delivery shifts for the 2022–2026 forecast period. The main areas covered are the distribution of spending across delivery models: classroom-based instructor-led training (C-ILT), elearning content, virtual instructor-led training (v-ILT), CD-ROM–based training, text-based training, and video/satellite video training."The shift from classroom-based instruction was rapid, significant, and permanent. eLearning, both self-paced or instructor led, will continue to grow in share as organizations continue to realize the convenience and efficacy benefits.
