Table 5.1 shows the overall results, with 51.21% of respondents being neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with their employer's efforts, followed by 27.02% who were

satisfied, and 7.66% who were very satisfied. Only 1.21% were very dissatisfied, and 3.63% were dissatisfied.

Table 5.2 breaks down the results by the predominant legal field, with some variations in satisfaction levels among the different fields. For example, respondents

working in the energy and intellectual property fields were generally more satisfied, while those working in personal injury/tort and finance were less satisfied.


This study looks closely at which lawyers read and post in law blogs, and how much they use them.  The study gives detailed distinct data sets on blog readers and posters, as well as data on their evaluation of the effectiveness of blog posting.  Respondents list their favorite law blogs, and their feelings about their firm’s strategies in legal blogging.
