Total demand in pounds is segmented by market in terms of: packaging; consumer and institutional products; transportation equipment; building products; furniture and furnishings; and other markets such as appliances, electrical and electronic components, and machinery components.

To illustrate historical trends, total demand, total shipments, the various segments, and trade are provided in annual series from 2012 to 2022.

Recycled polypropylene resin is excluded from the scope of this report.

Re-exports of polypropylene resin are excluded from demand and trade figures.
