This IDC Market Perspective examines new research that indicates that enterprises are now dedicating more of their IT budgets to digital innovation as compared with maintenance. "The scales have tipped. Enterprises now plan to spend more than half of their IT budgets on digital innovation," said Nancy Gohring, research director for IDC's Future of Digital Innovation Agenda Program.
