We have nudged Vietnam's 2023 GDP growth forecast up by 0.8ppts to 4.7%, and 2024's by 0.6ppts to 5%. The sustained month-on-month growth recently has raised the outlook of the trade-reliant economy in the coming quarters, with higher export earnings feeding through to stronger domestic demand. Still, our forecasts remain well below the pre-Covid trend of 7% pa.
