Macro - Country Economic Forecasts - Vanuatu

We forecast Vanuatu's GDP will grow by 3.5% in 2023 and 3.6% in 2024. The economic growth reflects a sharp recovery in tourism following the reopening of borders to international visitors last year and expansionary fiscal policy in the form of sizeable infrastructure investment. Remittance inflows and increased trade will also boost activity.
