Macro - Country Economic Forecasts - Sweden

Monthly indicators suggest the Swedish economy expanded in Q3, although it still faces significant headwinds. High inflation, large real income losses, a fast passthrough of rising interest rates, and weak external demand could push the economy into a contraction. We expect Sweden's GDP to shrink by 0.6% in 2023 and grow by 0.2% in 2024, the same as last month.
