Macro - Country Economic Forecasts - Netherlands

Our 2023 GDP growth forecast for the Netherlands remains unchanged at 0.5%. While we expect a weaker H2 relative to last month, revised national accounts data show the contractions in Q1 and Q2 were softer than previously suggested. We have lowered our GDP growth forecast for 2024 by 0.2ppts to 1.3% as we expect the lagged impact of monetary policy tightening to drag on economic activity.
