Macro - Country Economic Forecasts - Hong Kong SAR

Hong Kong's economy will resume growth this year, driven by the recovery in private consumption and tourism, while low base effects also play a part. But we remain cautious about the 2024 outlook due to uncertainty about global growth and China's economy. We forecast Hong Kong's real GDP growth will slow to 3% in 2024, from our estimated 3.9% pace this year.
