Global aerospace growth is strong. We forecast a remarkable 12.1% expansion in 2023 falling to a still-impressive 6% the year after. Forecast risks are to the downside though, as pent-up demand for air travel gradually dissipates. US and European airlines have been disrupted by manufacturer P&W’s engine recall, with the risk of grounded aircraft and cancellations.
