European Supply Chain Management Applications Forecast, 2022–2026

This IDC Market Forecast analyzes and sizes Europe's supply chain management applications market for 2019-2021 and features a 2022-2026 forecast. IDC assesses Europe's supply chain management applications market by functional segment (three segments) and deployment model (public cloud services and on-premises) in 22 countries. "Europe's SCM applications market showed a solid return to growth in 2021, with revenues rising 5.0% after a flat 2020 amid disruptions and spending curtailments triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. Much of its 2021 growth was driven by a sharp uptick in appetite for PCS solutions, with SaaS and cloud-based solutions also forecast to drive growth in the SCM application market in Europe through 2026. As organizations across the region invest in SCM applications as part of wider supply chain modernization initiatives, IDC anticipates strong demand for applications that provide more detailed supply chain insights, access to real-time data, analytics, and visualizations, increased automation, and which facilitate greater agility and flexibility across the supply chain," said Ashok Patel, research manager, IDC European Enterprise Applications.
