We've cut our 2023 GDP growth forecast for Tajikistan by 1.8ppts to 4.9%. We expect the global economy to slow this year and risks related to the Russia-Ukraine war remain high. Less severe disruptions from the war in Ukraine and a stronger-than-anticipated Russian economy, which supported demand for migrant workers, kept 2022 GDP growth buoyant at 8%.
