Due to higher investment and booming domestic demand early this year, we've raised Kazakhstan's GDP growth forecast to 4.7% from 4.3%. On the supply side, the pickup has relied heavily on energy and mineral production, with manufacturing output still falling in recent months under pressure from cheap imports. New field development that allows expansion of oil and gas exports through non-Russian routes will support growth in 2024-2025.
