Georgia was one of the fastest-growing economies in the world last year, with GDP growth of 10.3% beating our expectation of 9.7%. We expect growth to moderate sharply to 3.6% this year, reflecting the impact of high inflation and interest rates, tight fiscal policy, less impetus from external inflows, and a strong base effect. But this is still a solid outturn and above our previous forecast of 2.6%. We also maintain a solid outlook for 2024, with growth seen at 4.3%.
