Our GDP growth forecasts for both 2023 and 2024 have been lowered from our previous estimates. The DRC's economy is now expected to grow by 6.6% this year, slightly lower when compared to our previous estimate of 6.8%. This may in part be attributed to a sluggish Chinese economy and unfavourable copper and cobalt prices, in addition to our overall bearish outlook on global economic performance.
