We forecast GDP growth to reach 4.2% in 2023 before accelerating to 4.6% in 2024. The latter upturn is indicative of an improvement in the country's security situation, as well as a recovery in the mining (representing 17% of GDP) and agricultural (21% of GDP) sectors. The former sector has been bogged down by conflict, especially in the northern and eastern parts of the country, while adverse weather conditions have weighed on the agricultural sector.
